🚀 Getting started
The AI drafts the LINE messages you send your customers. Nothing reaches the customer until you review and approve it, so the AI never sends on its own.1. A customer messages you on LINE
The app receives messages sent to your customer-facing LINE account. 💡 Tip: Text, images and PDFs are recorded, and so are stickers, locations and the like. For anything other than text, images and PDFs, no draft is written — you're just told it arrived.
2. The AI writes a draft
It reads the documents in "📗 Import", the past conversation with that customer and their notes in "🧠 Memory", then drafts a reply. 💡 Tip: Once it exists you are notified both on the "Inquiries" screen and on your owner LINE. While it is being written, the customer sees LINE's "typing…" indicator.
3. You review it and send
Read the draft, edit it if needed, and send it through the confirmation step. 👉 How: You can also press "Send as is" in the notification on your owner LINE. ⚠️ Note: On iPhone, "編集" (Edit) opens the Shopify app — open MYDO from there. 💡 Tip: Only actions that reach the customer need your approval — by design.
4. You can also message first
You don't have to wait for an inquiry — you can start the conversation yourself. 👉 How: Pick a customer with no reply waiting, and a message field appears below the conversation. Let the AI write it with "✨ Compose with AI" or write it yourself; either way it goes through the confirmation step. 💡 Tip: Restock and reopening notices, or an apology for a delayed shipment, suit this well.
🧭 Setting up
First connect both LINE accounts on the "🔗 LINE" tab of "⚙️ Settings", then add your shop's documents under "📗 Import". 💡 Tip: Until that is done, the home screen is a step-by-step setup guide. The more material there is, the sharper the drafts get.
📮 Inquiries
Read the AI's draft, edit it if you need to, and send your reply to the customer.
Day-to-day work is almost entirely done on this one screen.
📮 Inquiries
Read the AI's draft, edit it if you need to, and send your reply to the customer. Day-to-day work is almost entirely done on this one screen.📋 The list on the left
One row per customer, newest first, and the ones marked "needs a reply" are still waiting on you. 💡 Tip: The list refreshes itself every 10 seconds, so you notice new messages with the screen open. The count also appears next to "Inquiries" in the left nav. If your reply is the latest message, the thread shows as replied even when older unanswered ones remain (instant auto-replies do not count). Notification links open "Unanswered inquiries" instead, which lists only the unanswered messages, grouped by customer. "Filter ▾" above the list narrows it by display name or message text, by tag, and by message date on a calendar. Pick one day for that day and earlier, or two days for the range between.
💬 Conversation
The selected customer's messages, oldest first, and the white bubbles on the right are the ones you sent. 👉 How: The "📋 Notes" button at the top shows what the AI remembers about this customer. 💡 Tip: The 100 most recent load first, and scrolling to the top loads 100 older ones at a time.
🏷️ Tags
The customer's tags appear in the row under their name, above the conversation. 💡 Tip: The AI adds them from the conversation, and "Purchased", "Repeat customer" and "VIP" are added when they buy through a product link. How a tag was added is shown by color, and hovering a tag shows the reason. The AI never re-adds a tag you removed. VIP starts at 30,000 yen in total by default (or at that currency's own default amount if you sell in another currency).
✏️ AI draft reply
The dashed frame under the last message is the AI's draft, and you can edit it right there. 👉 How: Press "✨ Revise with AI", say how to change it and press "Revise"; the AI rewrites it, showing the changes in red and green for three seconds. Click the box and instructions you used before are listed below it with 🕘, so you can reuse one with a click. 💡 Tip: On the send confirmation screen, the "Changes" tab compares them again, and a proofread pass fixes typos without changing the meaning.
↩️ Undo and redo
The ← and → next to the "✏️ Draft" label step back and forward through AI revisions and your own edits. 💡 Tip: They appear once the draft has been changed. Hover over them to see what each step was.
📎 Attachments and products
"📎 Attach" lets you send Shopify products, links, images and PDFs with the reply. ⚠️ Note: Only images and PDFs can be attached, up to 10MB per file. Because of how LINE works, a PDF arrives as a message with the file name and a download link. 💡 Tip: Products arrive as a carousel, and you can later see whether the customer opened a link.
😊 Stickers
You can add one LINE sticker to a reply, or to a message you start yourself. 💡 Tip: Pick "😊 Add a sticker" under "📎 Attach" and the AI stars the ones that suit the draft and moves them to the front (you still choose). ⚠️ Note: The sticker goes out together with the text, so it usually still counts as one message. If the reply carries many products or attachments, the sticker is sent separately and counts as two. The star is picked again at three moments: when you pick "😊 Add a sticker" under "📎 Attach", when you leave the draft field, and when you stop typing for 10 seconds. If a star still looks stale after an edit, close the sticker panel and pick it again.
📗 What this draft drew on
Below the draft, collapsed with a count, are the documents and products the AI read to write it. 👉 How: Open it to see their names, so you can check the grounds before approving. 💡 Tip: It only shows on a draft awaiting approval, and not at all when nothing was drawn on.
⚡ Suggested replies
Alongside the draft, the AI prepares options for what the customer is likely to ask next. 💡 Tip: They are attached above the customer's input field when you send. Up to 13 of them (LINE's limit).
🧪 Test drafts
Try out what the AI would write in a chat, without anything reaching a customer. 👉 How: While you have no inquiries yet, it fills the conversation area. After that, open it any time from the top of 🛠 Basics. 💡 Tip: It starts with an earlier conversation and memory notes for a test customer already loaded. "See what this draws on" lists everything in play — the documents and products are your own shop's. Once inquiries arrive, it also opens from "🧪 Test drafts" at the top right of the Import screen. Nothing reaches a customer, and no inquiry record is created.
🧾 Purchase thank-you messages
A draft made from a completed purchase with "✍️ Suggest a message" comes with a "View your order" button and four quick replies with common questions, instead of product cards for what was bought. The button arrives in its own bubble below the message and opens the customer's order page (new customer accounts). The button and quick replies follow the language of the message (Japanese or English). For people who bought through a product link, the items (name, variant, quantity) appear in the activity under the products you sent.

📊 Stats
The numbers behind your inbox: how many inquiries arrived, how fast they were answered, and how much of the AI's drafting went out untouched. A good read on how well the AI has settled into your shop's voice.📈 This period
Pick "Today", "Last 7 days" or "This billing cycle" to see inquiry counts, average reply time and more. 💡 Tip: Every period is cut by when the inquiry arrived, so all the numbers look at the same inquiries. Average reply time runs from receipt to send and leaves out inquiries you haven't answered. One very slow reply can skew the average, so the median is shown small beside it.
🤖 Share of AI drafts sent as-is
A bar splitting the inquiries answered with an AI draft into those sent as-is and those you edited. 💡 Tip: Whitespace-only differences don't count as edits, but replies sent after "Revise" do. Instant auto-replies have no AI draft, so they are not in this bar. Both shares divide the same count, so they always add up to 100%.
📅 Trend so far
Press "📅 Trend so far" to see how these numbers have changed, as a chart. 💡 Tip: Whether it groups by day, week or month depends on how long your records go back.
📅 Daily inquiries and replies
At the bottom of the dashboard, a bar chart shows inquiries for the last 14 days. 💡 Tip: It always shows the same 14 days, whichever period is selected above. Point at a bar to see that day's AI drafts and replies sent.
🗓 When tracking started
Drafts created, average reply time, AI adoption rate and edit rate are tracked from 8 August 2026. 💡 Tip: Earlier inquiries didn't record the original draft or send time, so they can't be counted back. When the period crosses that date, a notice appears at the top. The inquiry count alone includes everything before it.
🤖 Auto-replies
When a message matches a question you saved, it is answered instantly with no AI draft and no approval.
With "Use for similar questions" on, closely worded messages get that answer too.
Anything else goes through the normal flow.
🤖 Auto-replies
When a message matches a question you saved, it is answered instantly with no AI draft and no approval. With "Use for similar questions" on, closely worded messages get that answer too. Anything else goes through the normal flow.🔥 Frequent questions
Questions you get often are listed, and after you send the AI draft unchanged twice it suggests "Make this an auto-reply?". 💡 Tip: The suggestion appears at the top of this screen and on your owner LINE, and registering is your call. Differently worded questions with the same meaning are grouped, so untick one to leave just that wording out. 👉 How: Choose "Don't suggest this again" and it never comes up for that question.
📋 Registered auto-replies
Your auto-replies are listed here, where you can edit, pause or delete them. 💡 Tip: When updated documents or product info may have made an answer stale, an update is proposed. ⚠️ Note: While an update is pending the auto-reply is paused until you choose "Approve and resume" or "Resume without updating".
+ Add
Register a question that always gets the same answer, like "How much is shipping?", together with that answer. ⚠️ Note: It replies without approval to the same message, and to closely worded ones if "Use for similar questions" is on. 💡 Tip: The AI can draft the answer for you. Turn it on in "Basics" and drafts you send unedited are registered automatically too (off by default).
↩️ When it doesn't match
If even one character differs, a draft appears in "Inquiries" as usual. 💡 Tip: Drafts built from one customer's own memory notes are never registered, so they can't leak to others. Only notes relevant to the question count, so a customer whose notes are unrelated can still be used.
🌐 Store Q&A page
Tick "Show on page" on a row and that question and answer appear on a Q&A page on your store's domain. Anyone can read the page, including AI crawlers and search engines. The page URL is in the strip above the list, where you can copy it or press "Open". Until at least one answer is shown, the page doesn't open. If a customer's phone number, email address, order number, address, or possible name turns up, or wording meant for one customer (like "we've shipped" or "tomorrow"), you're asked to confirm before it's shown. Once AI or search engines have read it, removing it from the page won't undo that.
↩️ When an answer leaves the page
Untick it to remove it from the page. We don't promise how long it takes to disappear from the page after you remove it. Pausing or deleting an answer also removes it. A paused answer doesn't come back to the page when you resume it. Changing the text removes it too (editing and saving, re-registering the same question with a different answer, or approving a proposed update). While an update awaits approval the answer is hidden, and "Resume without updating" brings it back as it was. To show it again, check the new text and tick it once more.
🔗 Add a link to your store menu
Open "Add a link to your store menu" in the strip to see the steps. Use "Open menus" to open your store's menus (the footer menu works well), choose "Add menu item", paste the page URL, and save. This isn't a theme edit, so your store's look doesn't change. Without a link, AI crawlers have a harder time finding the page.

🧠 Memory

Narrow down what's remembered with the type tabs and the customer name. 👉 How: You can also jump straight to a customer's notes from under their name on the Inquiries screen.
📋 Learned memories
What the AI learned from conversations (customer preferences, shop rules and so on) is listed and used in future drafts. 👉 How: You can turn the automatic learning off in "Basics".
🗑️ Disabling and deleting
Tick a wrong note and press "Disable", and drafts stop using it. 💡 Tip: It stays in the list, and "Enable" brings it back any time. ⚠️ Note: A deleted note comes back with "Undo" in the notice right after, or with ⌘Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) in this list within 24 hours. If you just want to set one aside for a while, disabling has no time limit.

🔭 AI visibility
Records, every week, how AI tools like ChatGPT answer when customers ask about your store. The numbers are a rough guide and won't match exactly what your customers see.❓ Registering questions
Register up to 5 questions customers might ask, and the AI is asked them every week with the answers recorded. 👉 How: "Suggest from my store" has the AI propose questions from your products, auto-replies and documents (it gives up after 30 seconds). You can also write your own, and new questions are first measured on the next round. ⚠️ Note: The numbers are a guide and won't match what a customer sees on their own screen.
🔎 Two kinds of question
"Can they find you" asks without your store name and counts whether the name appears in the answer. 💡 Tip: "Does it answer correctly" asks with your store name and counts whether your pages were cited as the source. For a small store it is normal to start with the name not appearing.
📈 Weekly trend
Once a week each question is asked 3 times, each try is one dot, and the dot is filled when your name appeared. 👉 How: Click a week's column to open excerpts of that week's answers and their sources. 💡 Tip: A week where the AI call failed shows as "couldn't measure" and isn't counted. Answer text is deleted after 90 days, and only the counts remain.
⏸️ Pause and delete
"Pause" stops tracking, and "Resume" brings it back any time. 💡 Tip: Paused questions don't count toward your limit. ⚠️ Note: "Delete" removes the question together with its history.
🤖 Which AI, and what is sent
ChatGPT is asked with web search on, no conversation history, as a question from Japan. 💡 Tip: Claude (for the Unlimited plan) is not being asked yet. Only the question text is sent, and this tracking never adds to your bill.
📄 Files & URLs
Register documents about your shop and products, and the AI reads them when drafting messages.
The more material there is, the sharper the drafts get.
📄 Files & URLs
Register documents about your shop and products, and the AI reads them when drafting messages. The more material there is, the sharper the drafts get.➕ Add a document
On the "📄 Files" tab, upload a PDF, Word file, image or text file, or type the text in directly. ⚠️ Note: Up to 20MB per file. 💡 Tip: Using either "📄 Files" or "🔗 URLs" is enough. Your Shopify policies, Online Store pages and products are read in automatically and re-read weekly.
🔗 Add from a URL
On the "🔗 URLs" tab, the pages under the URL's domain are found and shown as a tree following their paths. 👉 How: Tick a branch to select every page under it at once. 💡 Tip: Pages added together are recorded one by one, so each ⌘Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) undoes one page.
⏰ Scheduled re-import
Documents imported from a URL can be re-imported automatically at an interval you choose. 💡 Tip: No need to add them again every time you update your site. ⚠️ Note: Removing the schedule keeps the documents and only stops the automatic updates.
📗 Registered documents
Your documents are listed here, and the AI searches them for just the parts relevant to a question. 💡 Tip: The "cited" count is how many drafts used that document. Time-limited material like a sale can get a validity period, after which it is no longer used. ⚠️ Note: A deleted document comes back with "Undo" in the notice right after, or with ⌘Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) in this list within 24 hours — after that it is gone for good.
🧪 Test drafts
Try out what the AI would write in a chat, without anything reaching a customer. 👉 How: Open it from "🧪 Test drafts" at the top right of this screen, or from the top of 🛠 Basics. 💡 Tip: Untick "Use documents" to compare drafts with and without your documents. Pick a customer and that customer's memory notes are used too. It also opens from "Open a test draft →" on the setup completion screen. Send a few messages in a row to check that drafts pick up the preceding exchange. While you have no customers yet, a test customer is offered, and the chat starts with their earlier conversation and memory notes loaded. Nothing reaches a customer.
🗂 LINE
Import your past LINE conversations so the AI can carry them forward.
Knowing the history makes its very first drafts far more accurate.
🗂 LINE
Import your past LINE conversations so the AI can carry them forward. Knowing the history makes its very first drafts far more accurate.📥 Import new files
Import the CSV files exported with "Back up chat history" in the LINE Official Account Manager. 💡 Tip: Each file is one customer's one-to-one chat, with no limit on how many. A ZIP you downloaded in bulk is unpacked automatically when uploaded as is.
⏳ Imports awaiting a link decision
Look at the candidates and approve whether an import is the same person as an existing customer. ⚠️ Note: Nothing is linked unless you approve, so other people's chats never get mixed in. 💡 Tip: If you can't tell, it's fine to leave it pending.
📤 Export
Save conversations as CSV, choosing the period and the customers. 💡 Tip: "For spreadsheets" is one file for Excel and the like, and "Same as LINE" is one file per customer. "Same as LINE" can go back into "📥 Import" or other tools, without duplicating in the same store. ⚠️ Note: One export holds up to 20,000 conversations.
✅ After importing
Imported conversations show up as history in "Inquiries", and are learned into memory notes too. 💡 Tip: Future drafts make use of those past conversations. ⚠️ Note: No reply is ever sent for an imported conversation.

The button at the top takes you to the Import screen with a test draft already open. 💡 Tip: Try out what the AI would write without anything reaching a customer.
✅ Default behavior
Every item is a "Do this?" question with two answers, and your choice is saved on the spot. 💡 Tip: Items are grouped by the screen they affect (Inquiries, Auto-replies, Import, owner LINE notifications). Under each answer it says what happens if you pick it. ⚠️ Note: A change applies from then on — existing drafts and learned notes stay as they are.
🔔 Owner LINE notifications
You can also pick the notification text size (normal, large, extra large) and whether to bundle new-inquiry notices. 💡 Tip: Bundling turns a burst of inquiries into one notice, so your owner LINE sends fewer messages. Each inquiry in a bundled notice can still be sent with "Send as is".
📧 Email notifications
When something important happens, you're told by email as well as on your owner LINE. 👉 How: For each kind, choose "Right away", "Hourly digest", "Daily digest" or "Don't send". ⚠️ Note: If the LINE connection breaks, owner LINE notices can't arrive, so email is the only way you'd know. Turning off the top checkbox sends nothing at all, whatever each kind is set to. By default it goes to the contact email address registered with your Shopify store; fill in the field to use a different one (clear it and it goes back). There are nine events, and the list is split in two. The top group, things you cannot afford to miss, arrives without you doing anything. The bottom group, day-to-day activity (a new inquiry, a reply going out, an auto-reply answering for you), is off by default — the same notifications already go to your owner LINE, so switch these on only if you want them by email too. Anything set to a summary arrives as one email counting everything that happened in between. There is a daily ceiling on how many arrive, but the LINE-connection fault and usage-limit notices sit outside it and always get through.
📍 Friend-add routes
Press "Open routes" under "📍 Friend-add routes" further down to make a friend-add route for each place — a store POP, a package insert, social media. 👉 How: Enter a route name and press "Add" to get that route's URL and QR code. 💡 Tip: People who add your LINE within 30 minutes of opening the URL get the route's tag automatically ("From: " plus the name). LINE does not say where someone added from, so counts are an estimate made by matching times. Make a friend-add URL and QR code for each place — a store POP, a package insert, social media. When someone opens that URL and adds your LINE within 30 minutes, they get the route's tag automatically (named "From: " plus the route name; routes made on the Japanese screen use "経路・"). LINE does not say where someone added from, so counts are an estimate made by matching times. Handing out several routes at the same time makes mix-ups more likely. For each route you can copy the URL, save the QR code as an image (PNG), and save a printable POP for your store (an A5 portrait PDF). Once a route is retired, no new customers enter step message flows narrowed to it (customers already in a flow keep receiving the messages you approve).
🖨 URL, QR code and print POP
For each route you can copy the URL, save the QR code as an image (PNG), and save a printable POP for your store (an A5 portrait PDF). 👉 How: Press "Copy", "Save image" or "Save print PDF". 💡 Tip: The POP carries the QR code and your store name (plus your LINE ID if your customer LINE is connected). ⚠️ Note: Before printing, scan the QR code with your phone and check that LINE opens.
🛑 Retiring a route
After you retire a route, the QR codes you handed out still let people add your LINE, but nothing is recorded and no tag is applied. 💡 Tip: Tags already applied stay on customers. ⚠️ Note: A retired route cannot be restored. No new customers enter step message flows narrowed to it (customers already in a flow keep receiving the messages you approve).
🌏 Web admin display language
On the "🌐 Language" tab next to it, choose Japanese or English for the admin screens. 💡 Tip: This is separate from the language of your replies to customers. Your choice is saved right away and the screen reloads.

Connect the two LINE accounts — one for customers, one for you — and choose a usage plan. Until this is done, no inquiry can be received.💳 Usage plan
Free includes 200 messages a month, Standard 5,000, Unlimited has no cap, and you're only billed the fixed monthly fee. 💡 Tip: Going over never stops sending: AI drafts switch to the simplified version for that month and return on the 1st (Japan time). 👉 How: Subscribe, change plan or switch to Free on the Shopify plan screen that the buttons open. 💡 Tip: Annual billing is 30% off the fixed fee, with the same included messages and overage handling as monthly. Unlimited also gives your feature requests priority handling. There is no way to buy extra messages. Pressing the button on the plan you're currently on shows when it's worth moving up a tier, with monthly and annual buttons to do it. Moving back to Free takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then you keep your current plan. The actual annual price is shown on Shopify's plan screen. While we are welcoming our first 10 stores as early members, the free trial runs for 1 year. 3 of them can also switch to Unlimited for free (during the trial, drafts get simpler beyond 14,000 messages a month).
🎁 Free trial
A store on Free can use Standard's allowance for 30 days with no card, from "Try free for 30 days" under Standard. ⚠️ Note: The button works once both LINE accounts are connected, and each store gets one trial. 💡 Tip: You keep Standard's allowance to the end of the month it ends, then return to Free on the 1st. You are never charged without asking.
🔍 Compare normal and simplified messages
See the simplified draft used in a month past your allowance side by side with the normal one, on the same inquiry. 👉 How: Open it and go "Pick an inquiry" → "Compare" → "Side by side". 💡 Tip: Drafts made here can't be sent and don't count toward this month's messages. You can compare 10 times a day. It starts closed. Even with no inquiries yet, you can try questions from the chat history you imported, questions your documents suggest, or a sample. Whichever way your drafts are made right now carries a "Current mode" badge, and "What differs" opens a breakdown such as the time taken and how many documents and products were used. An inquiry you have compared before shows the earlier result without using one. After changing products or customer notes, "Redo with what you have now" compares again (uses one comparison).
📨 Messages sent this month
Press ℹ️ at the top right of the Inquiries screen to see how many messages went to customers this month, against your plan's allowance. 💡 Tip: A "message" here means one message delivered to a customer (one send × the number of recipients). Notifications to your owner LINE, manual replies you type in the LINE chat screen, and instant auto-replies are not counted. 👉 How: "📈 Usage history" at the top right of "💳 Plan" shows this month's pace and the monthly counts. It counts by calendar month in Japan time and goes back to zero at 00:00 on the 1st. Replies and messages you start yourself count the same way, and every message to the same customer counts, not just the first. Once you go over, the overflow continues onto a red bar below. It is the same count as the one under ℹ️ at the top right of the inquiries screen. With your customer LINE connected, "📈 Usage history" gains a "📱 LINE side" tab: what LINE itself counted this month with a forecast, and what this LINE Official Account sent through apps each month (counted and not counted).
📱 LINE Official Account message allowance
LINE's own count and limit for this month, one row per connected LINE account. ⚠️ Note: Your owner LINE has its own limit, and if it runs out first nothing arrives even with app allowance left. 👉 How: To raise a limit, move up your plan in LINE Official Account Manager, or on the Standard plan, raise the additional message limit. 💡 Tip: "Couldn't fetch" does not mean zero remaining. If neither channel is connected, this section doesn't appear. It is counted differently from "Messages sent this month" above: sends that don't go through MYDO, such as broadcasts from LINE Official Account Manager, are included. The bar turns red when it is right at the limit. We fetch these values from LINE every few hours, so the "?" by the heading says what time they are from. An account with no monthly limit shows "No limit" and just this month's sent count. Under the Owner LINE row, this month's count is split three ways: "New inquiries", "Reply reports & edits" and "Other notices". If your owner LINE is nearing its limit and most of it goes on new-inquiry notices, a hint points you to batching them (under 🛠 Basics).
🔎 Customer LINE message breakdown & savings
This month's customer-LINE count as a bar, split into what MYDO sent (blue) and everything else (grey). 💡 Tip: The badge at the right of the heading gives the month's outlook, such as the date you'll likely hit the limit. Instant auto-replies don't count toward LINE's total, so they show separately as "Saved by auto-replies". The number at the tip of the bar is LINE's own count, the same as in "📱 LINE Official Account message allowance" just above. The badge reads, for example, "Limit around (a date)", "Within the allowance", "Within the free allowance for now" or "Extra charges ≈ ¥…". Point at (or press) "Limit around …" to see the chance of hitting the limit before the month ends, with "See the forecast". On plans that can send additional messages (Standard), going past the free allowance shows an estimate of the extra charge (excluding tax), worked out from LINE's price table. When some questions come in often, it estimates how many messages a month adding them to auto-replies would save, with a link to the auto-replies screen. "See the monthly trend" opens the "📱 LINE side" tab of "📈 Usage history". The "?" by the heading gives the estimated plan and what time the figures are from. This card doesn't appear until your customer LINE is connected.
🔗 Connect your LINE channels
On the "🔗 LINE" tab next to it, enter the channel ID and channel secret for both the customer and owner LINE. 👉 How: Both are on the "Basic settings" tab in the LINE Developers console, and saving sets the webhook URL for you. ⚠️ Note: Only "Use webhook" can't be switched from here, so turn it on in the console yourself. If either is missing you can't receive inquiries, and the left nav shows how many are missing.
🔔 Adding the owner LINE as a friend
Add your owner LINE as a friend and send it one message, and it is registered as where notices go. 💡 Tip: From then on, needs-a-reply notices arrive on LINE, even with the admin closed. ⚠️ Note: Reconnecting the owner channel clears this, so send a message again.

Your customer list and your existing manual replies both stay exactly as they are. What LINE's API does and does not allow, the one thing that genuinely changes, and how to put it back if you leave.🔐 Your customer list stays yours
Your friends — your customer list — are a part of LINE this app can neither fetch nor add to or remove from. 💡 Tip: That isn't a promise from us: LINE's Messaging API for outside apps simply has no command for it. This app can only receive messages, send replies and notices, read a sender's profile, and register the delivery URL. Your friend count and chat history carry over unchanged.
🔑 Admin rights stay in your hands
You can set this up without handing rights to your LINE Official Account Manager to anyone. 👉 How: All you enter into the app is the "Channel ID" and "Channel secret" from the LINE Developers console. 💡 Tip: Cases where friends were lost all involved someone given admin rights deleting the account or channel itself. As long as the rights stay with you, that cannot happen.
💬 Your manual replies keep working just as before
Leave "Chat" on in your LINE Official Account, and you can still reply by hand as before. 💡 Tip: Every customer message arrives both here and in the LINE chat screen at the same time. ⚠️ Note: Do your everyday replies from this app. Replying from LINE directly answers twice, and that reply isn't kept here. You can reply from the LINE Official Account Manager on the web or from the official smartphone app. During the switch-over right after setup, you can run both side by side.
🛟 Even if this app goes down, your inquiries are still in reach
Inquiries that arrive while this app is down are still waiting in your LINE Official Account chat screen. 💡 Tip: The route into the chat screen runs independently of this app, which never touches it. You can reply by hand right there, so no customer is left waiting. That is why we recommend leaving "Chat" on.
⚠️ The one thing that changes is where messages are delivered
Connecting changes only one thing: the delivery address (webhook URL) for incoming messages. 💡 Tip: An account has just one delivery address, so connecting puts this app's URL there. 👉 How: If another tool such as Manychat or L-Step is also connected, choose "Keep sending to …" on the connection screen. ⚠️ Note: If you don't, the auto-responses running in that tool will stop.
✅ One thing to check before you connect
Just check whether the same LINE Official Account is already used with another LINE tool. 👉 How: If it isn't, go ahead and connect. If it is, choose "Keep sending to …" to try this app with that tool still running, and decide later whether to stop it. 💡 Tip: If you're unsure, ask us from "Contact" in "? Help".
↩️ Leaving puts the old delivery address back
Clear both the Channel ID and Channel secret on the "🔗 LINE" tab and save, and we put back the URL that was there before. 💡 Tip: Uninstalling puts it back too, but Shopify's notice isn't guaranteed to arrive, so this is the reliable route. ⚠️ Note: If the address has meanwhile changed to another URL, we leave it alone. If the old tool's own authorization has lapsed, it may not resume even with the URL back. Only the URL is restored. The "Use webhook" switch has no API on LINE's side and this app never touches it, so it keeps whatever state you set. We leave a changed address alone so that a setting you restored yourself, or one another tool has taken back, is never overwritten.
🎨 Customizing your LINE account
Rich menus, greeting messages, your icon — everything on the LINE Official Account side is yours to change freely, and none of it interferes with this app.
Listed here in the order we'd do them.
🎨 Customizing your LINE account
Rich menus, greeting messages, your icon — everything on the LINE Official Account side is yours to change freely, and none of it interferes with this app. Listed here in the order we'd do them.📱 Rich menu (start here)
The image split into buttons right above the message box, which every customer who adds you sees. 👉 How: Upload one image, split it with a template, and give each cell an action such as "Link" or "Text". 💡 Tip: Linking to shipping, returns, opening hours and best sellers cuts down repeat questions. A "Text" cell sends that word as an inquiry, and the AI drafts a reply. A "link" cell sends nothing to this app. This app never touches the rich menu on your customer LINE, so you can rebuild it whenever you like.
👋 Greeting message
One message sent automatically the moment someone adds you as a friend. 👉 How: Say what the account is for ("Ask us about shipping, stock and returns") so the first question comes easily. 💡 Tip: Mentioning that replies can take a while avoids misunderstandings. It has nothing to do with this app and doesn't use your free message quota. Only pushes count against the free message quota.
🖼 Icon, cover image, account name
This is how you look in the chat list, so a logo or store photo keeps customers from mixing you up. 👉 How: Change the cover image, profile image and status message from "Profile" in LINE Official Account Manager. ⚠️ Note: Images and the status message can be changed once an hour. Only unverified accounts can change their name. The profile image is 640×640px; the cover image is at least 200×200px and under 10MB. A verified account keeps the name it opened with.
🏠 Store details on your profile
The page that opens when someone taps your account name can show hours, phone, website, photos, a map and more. 👉 How: Put your store's URL here so profile visits turn into orders too. 💡 Tip: You can choose the buttons at the top (call, reserve and so on). The more is filled in, the fewer customers need to ask at all.
📣 Getting more friends
Your QR code, add-friend button and URL can go on your online store or on printed cards. 👉 How: Order confirmation emails, the thank-you page and a card in the box are the usual places. 💡 Tip: The more friends you have, the more this app gets to draft for you.
⛔ The only things to leave alone
Turning off "Webhook" under Settings → Response settings stops customer messages from reaching this app. ⚠️ Note: Rewriting the webhook URL or channel secret in the LINE Developers console does the same. 💡 Tip: "Chat" can stay on. Beyond those three, change anything you like — it won't affect this app.
💌 Outreach
One screen for the messages you send first: follow-ups and step messages.
Open it from the Basics tab under Settings; only what you approve is sent.

After a consultation or a purchase, the AI drafts a short note tailored to each customer. 💡 Tip: We check every day, and new drafts wait for approval here and on your owner LINE. ⚠️ Note: Only what you approve is sent. 👉 How: You also choose here which triggers create a draft.
📬 Step messages
Build a flow of messages sent on set days after a trigger, such as being added as a friend, a purchase, or a cart left without buying. 💡 Tip: For each message you write instructions for the AI, and it writes that customer's text the day before. 👉 How: Before starting, make a sample with a real customer to check it (samples never reach customers). ⚠️ Note: While running, tomorrow's messages are announced above the list and on your owner LINE, and only what you approve is sent. When you open a flow, the strip at the top shows whether you are at "Build", "Preview" or "Start". A broadcast always leaves out customers who have blocked your LINE account. After you press "Send to N", a bar and a count such as "312 / 1,000" show how it is going. Sending continues even if you leave the screen.

The full per-screen explanation, and the one place specifications are written out. 👉 How: Click a row to open it, and "Open this screen" takes you there. 💡 Tip: The FAQ leads here too, and a link at the bottom opens a public version readable outside the admin.
❓ FAQ tab
An index of questions, with short answers grouped by category. 👉 How: For how things work in detail, "See related help" at the end of each category takes you to the Help tab. 💡 Tip: The "?" next to each screen's title also brings you straight to the matching category.
💬 Contact tab
When nothing above solved it, the AI chat takes as many follow-up questions as you like. 👉 How: If that still doesn't do it, press "Hand over to a person": the exchange and your store settings reach us, and the reply arrives on this screen. 💡 Tip: Feature wishes go to the "Feature requests" form. In a hurry, there is also our support LINE account.
